New Face – Travis

Readers, you may have noticed that I have retreated into simply posting images with no anecdotes or tales to tell, but today, I return to sharing my thoughts on the photo series I post.

My subject for this photo shoot was a brand new, fresh face to the Matthew Agency…Travis.  With one of the best bodies that has walked through the doors at the agency, Travis was practically signed on the spot.  With very little effort (besides spending nearly every day in the gym) he looked flawless in front of the lens.

As a photographer, one can fall into a routine of comfortable practices and familiar styles.  With this series, however, I wanted to push myself again and create anew. The name of the game was color…saturation to be exact.  I have found my recent photography to be muted, soft, and warm.   Time to make the colors and contrasts POP!  Enjoy! -JM
